Hypnosis weight loss tape

Hello and welcome to a how to successfully use a hypnosis weight loss tape so that we can achieve real results...

As I've mentioned in my previous post, a hypnosis weight loss tape is to be listened to actively. What I mean by that is that a listener should really do what the hypnotist requests. You see, hypnosis is permission based and in order to work a person must first:
  • believe that he or she CAN and WILL be hypnotized
  • trust the hypnotist (be it in person or on a tape)
  • be comfortable with the idea of being hypnotized
  • let it happen!

While a hypnosis weight loss tape is usually made for a general person, it can really work very well if a person takes the steps to abide all the rules written in the bullets above. A hypnosis session with a real hypnotherapist is of course a great advantage and very recommended, but most people simply can't find the time to go to sessions and therefore look for a simpler yet still effective alternative. And that's where hypnosis tapes come in handy.

The purpose of hypnosis is to achieve a change in the subconscious level. You see, a conscious mind really makes the decisions, but before doing so it always consults the following things:

  • a person's habits
  • a person's beliefs
  • a person's values

and they are all stored in the subconscious mind! Now it's very easy NOT to take a bite of a sandwich at the exact same moment you've decided to start loosing weight. But the problem arises when a person tries this over time...

An overweight person has certain beliefs and holds certain values. And to both a contribution was made by his or her eating habits that he or she has developed over time.

When a person starts overeating, it can quickly become a habit (it only takes five days!). Over time a habit creates a belief inside that person (= "I eat a lot and it's OK"). And over time that belief turns into a value (= "The essence of who I am is eating a lot and that's very important for my survival"). Now those are very powerful forces that drive your behaviour from the subconscious. You can do very little with the power of will (a conscious mind trait!) as your much more powerful feelings will constantly want to get what they want.

So here hypnosis plays a very important role. It's a great tool to get your subconscious to accept the new "rules of the game" and therefore make it easier to establish new, healthier habits that will in time create new beliefs that will in time create new values.
